Another showdown with the teacher’s union in Chicago

It is not surprising that Mitt Romney is against the teachers union in Chicago. No class war is complete without destroying unions and any institution that can defend a worker’s rights. The goal of Romney and his Tea Party pals is to beat all working people into total submission. The Tea Party Republicans see workers as oxen, who are devoid of any real feelings or needs other than food and shelter.Here is what Romney had to say, from Yahoo News;"Well, I think the president ought to stand up and say we that we ought to put the kids first in this country and the teacher's union goes behind," Romney said during a radio interview with conservative talk show host Hugh Hewitt. "Look I think we've gotta help the kids, help their parents, help the teachers, but the teacher's union is opposed to many of the reforms in education that we know are critical to the success of our kids."
He leaves out that no reforms are any good without actual teachers to go into a class room and teach the children. If those people are demoralized by bad treatment, then the city’s district is going to get what it pays for—mediocre work. -សតិវ អតុ
